Update on recent on-campus network performance issues

For the last few days, UNE has been experiencing intermittent network performance issues. These would have mainly had an impact on on-campus student, but has occasionally affected logins to Moodle and, more regularly, Adobe Connect.

If you are in units that have Adobe Connect meetings scheduled, looks out for announcements for unit coordinators in your unit for alternative ways of accessing the Adobe Connect meeting room (or any schedule changes).

If you are on-campus and are connecting your devices to the UNE network on-campus please make you have current anti-virus protection installed. If you don’t have antivirus software already, you can take advantage of Sophos Home, which is offered free to UNE students (https://www.une.edu.au/antivirus).

Also, especially if you are an on-campus student, continue to report any issues to the IT Service Desk via the webportal (https://une.service-now.com) or by email (servicedesk@une.edu.au).

Apologies for any issues the network performance problems may have caused you – we are working on them at highest priority.

Please check the Service Announcement page in the MyUNE portal or the IT webportal above for further update.
