In order to keep UNE’s Moodle environment current and updated, we will use the trimester break between T2 and T3 to update UNE’s Moodle to a new version and a new look on Friday, 17th October – after exams for T2 have finished.

Moodle will be unavailable from 5pm Friday, 17th October 2014 AEST to 5pm Saturday, 18th October 2014 (i.e. 24 hours from Friday evening to Saturday evening).

Once access is restored, Moodle will have some new features, some annoying bugs will be fixed and it will look better on desktop and mobile devices.

Be aware our Moodle has not supported Internet Explorer 8 since June. It is important that you use an alternate browser as IE8 no longer supports Moodle quizzes and some other features. A list of browsers and minimum computer/software requirements is available on the ITD Hardware page.

If you experience any issues with Moodle after the upgrade, please contact the IT Service Desk via ServiceNow (http://une.service-now.com), by email to servicedesk@une.edu.au or by phoning 1800 763 040 (free call in Australia) or +61 2 6773 5000.
