Moodle Badges
What are badges?
Moodle Badges may be awarded to recognise achievement of specific criteria in units and other sites across UNE. The Academic Integrity Module - AIM badge, is an example of a badge all students must obtain.
Badges display on your Moodle profile.
Check if a unit has a badge
To check if a unit contains a badge students can earn, navigate to anyone of the units you are enrolled in.
Click the hamburger button to expand the navigation panel.
Select Badges to display all available badges in the site.
The Criteria field indicates requirements to earn the badge and the Issued to me field, is date stamped upon completion.
Note: User has not been awarded the PC Lab Safety Mark 2 badge, as no date appears in the Issued to me field.
There are no badges available message appears in sites containing no badges.
Managing the display of you badges
Login to Moodle. You will see your name (appears to right hand corner). Click on your name, select Preferences from the drop down menu.
Select Manage Badges to display a page showing the badges you have earned.
